I grew up in Colorado Springs, Colorado just outside of Fort Carson. I'm proud to call myself an ARMY brat. I've moved around quite a bit since then...but still miss those mountains!

I went to college at Hastings College in Nebraska. It was 6 1/2 hours from home, and they offered me a soccer scholarship. I was SO THERE.
Hastings had an amazing communications and media department, so I spent most of my college days playing on the college radio station and editing videos for our tv news.
I landed my first official radio gig was after interning at 94.5 The Breeze. A wonderful man named Dave Brock hired me on to help co host the morning show when I was barely 20 years old.
After graduating I moved on to Fort Wayne, Indiana where I worked for Federated Media (a group of radio stations) as a Cow mascot and remote tech, taking on any weekend air shift they would give me.
One day, I was offered a job on a morning show at a new station in Auburn, IN. Froggy 106.7.
Almost 5 years later I found my way back to Nebraska, stumbled my way back into radio and worked for GI Family Radio group.
That's when I got the call from Tom Mitchell. I'd never been to Sioux Falls in my life--but once I came for a visit, I knew it was my next home!!
So here I am.
And, yes, I do very much like Sioux Falls.
